Terms and Conditions and other information
PG Computing Ltd.
PGdebt software is produced by PG Computing Ltd, Agdon House, Warmington, Banbury,

PG Computing is a very small business and though we try very hard, we may not
be able to provide the levels of service obtainable from larger organisations.
Complaints
These should be directed to PG Computing Ltd. at the address above, quoting
full details and invoice number. If you have a license key please quote that
also.
Licence terms
PGdebt is licensed, not sold outright. Buyers must agree to the terms of the
licence and should return the software unopened if they do not accept the licence
terms. If the buyer breaks the licence terms, it may be withdrawn and the program
will cease to operate, in which case no refunds will be made.
Buyer's Purchasing Terms and Conditions
PG Computing does not accept any buyer's conditions which attempt to insist
that the buyer's Terms and Conditions will take precedence over PG Computing's
license terms, nor does PG Computing accept any conditions which have not been
presented to us in writing by the buyer, before the purchase. Buyers must accept
the terms of the PGdebt license.
Suitability
The PGdebt program is issued in good faith, but without any guarantee that it
is suitable for any particular purpose. The user must make sure that the program
is suitable for his or her needs. PG Computing Ltd. cannot accept any liability
for any loss or damage whatsoever that arises from the use or misuse of PGdebt
computer software. A trial period is available so that potential users may satisfy
themselves that the program meets their requirements before purchase. PGdebt
requires Windows 95 or above. PGdebt runs locally on network workstations and
is not suitable for networks where the workstations do not have their own local
hard discs. The program is not designed for networks which link separate locations
or VPNs, though it may well work OK on these. Please test this during the trial
period. PGdebt requires a modern Pentium PC or higher, (or equivalent) and plenty
of RAM.
Technical support
Technical support is free for the trial program and three months after purchase
of the full program. After that time occasional calls for support will be free
but very heavy users of technical support may be charged. You will be warned
in good time if charging is a possibility and informed of the charges. PG Computing
is not a full time organisation and is not continuously manned, but if you leave
a message we will try to contact you. During holidays, technical support may
not be available for up to three weeks. Technical support is available on the
PGdebt web site www.pgcomputing.co.uk
Technical support may sometimes be delegated to a user's specialist IT department.
Cancellation
You have the right to cancel your purchase of PGdebt software for any reason
within 8 days of receipt of the goods, provided that the software envelope has
not been opened and the seal is not broken. If you wish to cancel, just inform
PG Computing at the above address within the 8 day period and your payment will
be refunded when the goods are returned. If you cancel, you are liable for the
cost of returning the goods. If the software seal has been broken, or more than
seven days has passed, there is no statutory right to cancel, but PG Computing
only wants satisfied customers and we will consider refunds after that period,
in this case the license will be cancelled and the program will not run. After
3 months no cancellations or refunds will be considered.
Data Protection Act
PG Computing holds names and addresses on a computer database for administration
of the business. Details are not released to third parties. If you wish to be
removed from this list, please let us know.

Licences required (does not apply to trials)
Every PC on which PGdebt XW is installed requires a license key. You should
not install the same license key on more than one PC. If the licence terms are
broken, it may be withdrawn and the program will cease to operate, in which
case no refunds will be made. With some versions a network license key may restrict
the number of PCs which can run PGdebt concurrently. Please note that the license
control software can detect unlicensed installations and it may cut them off
without warning
Lost CDs or license keys Please take care of the original CD. Replacement of
your CD will incur a charge.
Lost keys can be replaced but there will be a charge if the original key has
to be disabled and a new key issued. Please take care of your license keys,
lost keys can cut you off if used by another party.
Use on multiple computers and laptops which are not networked
The PGdebt manual describes how to use the program on separate non-networked
computers located at the same site. If data is to be moved around between these
computers, the instructions for synchronising the PGdebt system files must be
closely followed. If the program is to be used on multiple computers it is much
better to network them.
Copying/lending/distribution
Copyright on PGdebt software is owned by Paul Grenet, PG Computing Ltd. You
may make a single copy of the CD for your own use as a backup in case the original
is lost. All other copying is a breach of copyright and is illegal.
Use of PGdebt files by other software
All files, including the PGdebt client files produced by the program are designed
for use by PGdebt software only, you must not permit other supplier's software
to use these files unless PG Computing specifically approves it. You must not
open the files yourself using a word processor or any other program, the slightest
change can completely corrupt the file. We cannot be responsible for any problems
arising from ignoring this clause.
Networks
PGdebt 8 must be installed locally on network workstations and is not suitable
for networks where the workstations do not have their own local hard discs.
Installing the program on a server, then running it from the workstations will
cause the license to be locked as the program will not run successfully in this
way for technical reasons. We will not support any user who ignores this requirement.
Special instructions in the manual describe how to use laptops and networks
together. The program is not designed for networks spanning different locations
or VPNs, though it may work successfully. These aspects should be tested during
the trial period.
Suitability
The PGdebt program is issued in good faith, but without any guarantee that it
is suitable for any particular purpose. The user must make sure that the program
is suitable for his or her needs. PG Computing cannot accept any liability for
any loss or damage whatsoever that arises from the use or misuse of the PGdebt
Computer Program. A trial period is available so that potential users may satisfy
themselves that the program meets their requirements and runs properly on their
equipment. PGdebt is intended to be used by qualified debt advisers. PGdebt
requires a modern Pentium PC or higher, (or equivalent) and plenty of RAM.
Backups
The PGdebt manual describes how to back up the PGdebt client and system files.
These backups are essential as while you use the program, the client files and
some system files change constantly. Some of these cannot be rebuild by re-loading
they
must be restored from backup to rebuild your system precisely. If you call for
technical support and no backup is available, we may not be able to help you
reload your system completely and some data will be corrupted. We will not be
responsible for problems arising from failure to back up properly.
Technical support
Technical support is free for the trial program and three months after purchase
of the full program. After that time occasional calls for support will be free
but heavy users of technical support may be charged. You will be warned in good
time if charging is a possibility. PG Computing is not a full time organisation
and is not continuously manned, but if you leave a message we will try to contact
you. A good source of information if you cannot reach us is at www.pgcomputing.co.uk
